We encourage the design build approach because it makes a lot of sense to us that whoever does the design should do the construction. From the initial meeting between client and architect through the final turn of the key in the front door there is so much information that is shared between the parties that it cannot all get put down on paper so personal relationships are very important. As the design is developed and ideas get bantered about not only is vital construction information given but also as the parties get to know one another on a more personal basis there can be as much learned through personal relationships as through the hard data of feet and inches.
